Restart, Life 2.0!

Posted on

It is time for the routine annual update :D. Thought of Starting this with the self troll. I think the adjective in my bio – “Occasional blogger” has also been quite big exaggeration now, since I wrote hardly a post in a year for the past 2-3 years. At least some of you might be wondering what the hell happened to this crazy fellow for writing an english blog leaving the usual style in malayalam. Nothing has happened to the crazy fellow, in fact the crazy fellow has become more crazy. I am opted for english only because am lazy to translate for those who ask me what is written in Malayalam, since I have some non Malayalee readers (at least I expect some ;)). Or else I could have stuck to the Malayalam with all funny filmy dialogues and trolls, which no English can give.

It has been a year for today (25th July 2019, the day I started writing

this blog post. I don’t even know when will I finish. That lazy i am in writing, of course many of you knows) since I started my Pune life – the student life again. I know restarting the student life after four long years gap is not a silly task. But I was ready to accept the risk. I boasted like in the movie “All the risks are just like eating the rusks to me”. But it was never easy for me. The guy who worked for four years, enjoyed and walked through the site like a baison, who controlled almost 800 people, who was earning money, who was the boss for many, who roamed around according to his wish is now a student (supposed to be an obedient) sitting in the classes from morning to evening, listening to the teachers, writing notes… It was hard for me to cope up with, luckily succeeded till now. Sooraj Kenoth you was the only source of energy to me while I was sitting in the class. If “YOU” could sit in the MTech classes in your 30s, why can’t I?

Fortunately or unfortunately, the class was of only 12 people – Small, simple and significant. We were only 11 at the starting, with me being the eldest of all. No wonder in it isn’t it? In the age people find new places and opportunities to (so called) settle down in their life, here this crazy guy is going back to college and restarts the education. No difference in the hostel too in this matter. I experienced the hostel life for the first time in my life this time. Not even once I have thought of staying in a hostel when I ascending and descending almost 126km a day for 4 years daily. It’s not because of homesickness. Anyway that is not the matter here. Coming back to the matter, I became the Shahrukh Khan of Main Hoon Na in the class and the hostel. Two weeks after we had a new entry in the class – Our electrifying Samar Hassan- married, older than me and still coming for studying. Though she was a maveli(the title presented to those who are irregular. Read more on Maveli [here]) to the class, I was happy; I am not the elder now, got a company. “Once a thief is always a thief” is true, there was no change the post for me I was still the baba for my classmates and she became Samar BAI. But the days Samar BHAI came to the class was always fun. The fun persisted not much, she left the course very soon.

Pratik Mahadik the guy who I spoke first had almost the same wavelength of mine. The guy who has the “Rikshawala GPS” inbuilt in his head. Thinking of what is this Rishawala ?

Simply catch a Rishaw of fraud drivers in a new place, he takes you to shows you the entire city for a kilometer journey. Same way he can take you to a place 100 meters aways through a kilometer track. Still researches are going on this whether he intentionally do this or not :P, (even he himself couldn’t figure out that). Dimple Jain Miss innocent of the class (not now) and Pratik was my outing partners for the early days. The most responsible and serious guy in the class(at least we thought like that) – Abhijeet Sharma was given the responsibility to lead the class. He was unanimously chosen as the class representative. Sidharth, another malayalee in the class who doesn’t know how to read or write Malayalam. According to him he was brought up in many parts of India. Kajol, the childish girl in the class was chubby one like my sister. Ayushi our IUC, the typical marati women who always initiates the marati talks in the group and make non maratis like us crazy. Omakr the fitness freak, foodie like me our Pune Guide. Hemant the silent boy, runs away to home soon after the class. Mohit mysterious man in our batch who uses no smartphone and no social media. It requires some determination and guts to live like this in this era of technology. Rahul Jain the Guju business mind is the last of member. I intentionally said his name last because, if I started say about him then I better write a book, such a unique and strange guy is he. But our many thoughts were alike. And that completes the MTech family.

Even if you are not getting bored of reading this boring post, I am getting bored of writing. So will have a second part soon with more Pune stories. For now good bye..
